General Questions

Q. What makes Shaka Soap different from other soaps?
Our soaps are 100% natural, handmade in small batches using the cold-process method. No synthetic ingredients, no shortcuts, just nourishing, earth-friendly bars.

Q. Are your soaps vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes! All our soaps are vegan and never tested on animals. We only use plant-based ingredients and essential oils.

Q. Do your soaps contain palm oil?
No. We are proudly palm oil–free and always will be.

Q. Do you offer gift wrapping?
We do offer gift wrapping but only by custom enquiry, there is no option on the website currently. Our soaps make brilliant gifts, and the packaging is beautiful as it is!

Product & Usage

Q. How long does a bar of soap last?
With proper care, most bars last 3–4 weeks with daily use. Check out our Soap Care page for top tips.

Q. Are your soaps suitable for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. We only use gentle, natural ingredients. If you have particularly sensitive skin, we recommend starting with our unscented Naked Bar.

Q. Can I use your soap on my face?
Yes, many of our customers use our bars as an all-in-one wash. We recommend patch testing if you have very sensitive skin, as skin on the face is more sensitive.

Orders & Shipping

Q. Where do you ship?
We currently ship across the UK. If you’re outside the UK and want to order, message us and we’ll see what we can do!

Q. How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days. Delivery typically takes 3–5 days from the date of ordering depending on your location and day of the week you place your order.

Q. Can I track my order?
Yes. You’ll receive tracking info by email as soon as your order ships.

Q. I gave the wrong shipping address, what can I do?
Email us at hello@shakasoaps.com as soon as possible. If the order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll update it for you.

Returns & Exchanges

Q. Do you accept returns?
Due to hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on opened soaps. If there’s a problem with your order, though, please contact us and we’ll make it right.

Q. My soap arrived damaged, what should I do?
We’re really sorry! Please email us with a photo of the issue and we'll investigate it for you.

Scrub Club (Subscription)

Q. Can I customise my Scrub Club subscription?
Yes! You can choose how many bars you receive each month, and whether you want recurring favourites or a variety.

Q. How do I manage my subscription?
Log in to your account to pause, skip, or update your plan anytime.

Q. When will I be billed for my subscription?
You’ll be billed on the same day each month, based on your original sign-up date.

Q. Can I cancel anytime?
Of course. You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.

Q. I want to stock your soaps, how do I apply?
We’d love to hear from you! Visit our Stockists page to apply, it only takes a minute and our team will come back to you within 48 hours.

Q. Do you offer sale-or-return?
Yes, we offer sale-or-return on your first order, so you can trial our products in store with no risk.
